New Hampshire DWI laws alert. There will be DWI roadblocks in Manchester, New Hampshire on two upcoming nights: July 15th and July 16th. Prepare for a close encounter of the worst kind with the police: make sure you have a valid license and registration, make sure your equipment (including lights) works, and that your car has been inspected. Make sure you do not have any drugs or drug paraphernalia in your car. Note that even a used marijuana pipe with a little bit of resin in it will get you arrested at a DWI roadblock. The police are keen to elevate the number of the arrests they make to justify the privacy intrusion that these roadblocks cause. Most arrests in DWI roadblocks are not for DWI. Don’t give the police a free shot at arresting you. If you do get arrested for DWI or any other crime call Attorney Mark Stevens at 1-603-893-0074 today for a free consultation.
Below you will find a link to a youtube video of an RCTV episode from last summer (2010) which discusses the legality and questions the effectivess of these intrusions into the privacy of law-abiding drivers and their passengers. New Hampshire DWI/DUI lawyer Mark Stevens, Massachusetts OUI defense attorney James Milligan and host Attorney Kendra Cooper discuss the rising number of DWI and OUI roadblcoks in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
