3 Times Not to Answer “YES” to the Cops

Did you know that you don’t have to be drunk to get a New Hampshire DWI? You can be charged with a DWI just because the cops think you have a buzz on from marijuana. People know that DWI laws are really tough if you are caught driving drunk. BUT, did you know that the same harsh legal penalties haunt citizens busted for driving under the alleged influence of weed?
What to do?
If the cops suspect you of driving after you smoked marijuana, you will probably get arrested for DUI.
3 Times NOT to Answer “YES” to the Cops:
- Is there anything in the car I should know about? (not good to say “yes” if the answer is “weed”)
- Have you been smoking weed? (“yes” being an obvious bad answer)
- Do you feel buzzed? (“buzzed” equals “guilty” at a DWI trial).
You should not lie to the cops, but you don’t need to tell them incriminating information either. Politely decline these types of inquisitions! Here is a video on New Hampshire Marijuana laws.
